30 million Americans have kidney disease. That’s about 15% of the adult population.

94,825 patients are waiting for a kidney on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) National patient waiting list. There are about 114,000 on the organ waiting list. Most are waiting for a kidney.

Only 3 in every 1,000 people die in a way that allows for organ donation. The need for living donation remains at an all-time high.
